What We Stand For

Safety. Dignity. Freedom.

A diverse group of friends smile at the camera while taking a selfie outdoors, with sunlight in the background, conveying joy, friendship, and togetherness.

At Thriving Autistic, we are a global, neurodivergent-led community of practice.

We support Autistic and other neurodivergent people and professionals in offering affirming, ethical, and effective care.

We centre human dignity, mental freedom, and the right to thrive in everything we do.

We stand unequivocally for the safety, freedom, and inherent worth of all neurodivergent people.

This includes those who are transgender, non-binary, gender-diverse, racialised, disabled, and multiply marginalised.

While we do not respond to every political development or media cycle, we acknowledge that rising misinformation and targeted hostility, particularly toward Autistic and trans communities, has a real and harmful impact on mental health, safety, and access to support.

In Solidarity

With those at the sharpest edges of injustice, we affirm:

Not Broken

Neurodivergent people do not need to be fixed, cured, or silenced.

Valid and Safe

Trans and gender-diverse people are valid and deserving of safety, care, and autonomy.

Generative,
Not Reactive

Human thriving is incompatible with hate, fear-mongering, or coercive systems.

Our Mission Is Generative

We are building spaces where neurodivergent people can heal, connect, and lead.

We invite our global community to seek out, support, and uplift the vital advocacy work being done in their local regions.
